Traveling with 6-9 people in Rwanda? Van hire in Kigali is the practical middle ground — more space than an SUV, more flexible than a full minibus, organized around your itinerary.
Van Hire Kigali: Practical Group Transport for Rwanda Travel
There is a specific logistical problem in group Rwanda travel: the party of 6-9 people that is too big for a single SUV but does not need a full minibus. Van hire in Kigali solves this cleanly — everyone travels together, luggage fits without compromise, and the per-person cost drops significantly below what multiple separate vehicles would require.

Van vs Multiple SUVs
For 6-9 people, one van is almost always the better call over two or three separate SUVs. One van eliminates convoy coordination, means everyone hears the same local knowledge from one driver-guide, and significantly reduces total vehicle and driver costs. For national parks specifically, our safari Land Cruisers are better suited for internal game drives than a van.
Van Hire with Driver
All van hire includes a professional driver as standard. For groups larger than 14, see our minibus guide.
