Rwanda has a way of making you want to stay longer. Here is exactly how to extend your kigali car rental mid-trip without losing your vehicle, paying penalties, or disrupting your itinerary.
How to Extend Your Kigali Car Rental Mid-Trip Without Stress
It happens to many Rwanda visitors. You arrive planning 5 days and by day 3 you realize you need 7. Rwanda does this to people. Extending your kigali car rental mid-trip is usually simple — but it requires contacting us before your current agreement expires.
How to Request a Kigali Car Rental Extension
- Contact us via WhatsApp as soon as you know you want to extend
- Tell us your rental agreement number, vehicle, and how many additional days needed
- We confirm availability — if your vehicle is pre-booked, we arrange an equivalent replacement
- Extension agreement sent digitally or via WhatsApp
- Additional payment via mobile money or card
- You continue driving — no need to return the vehicle
Extension Cost
Extensions are billed at the same daily rate as your original rental — or at a weekly rate if the extension takes your total period to 7+ days. No penalties for extending. See our pricing guide.
What If the Vehicle Is Already Booked?
If your specific kigali car rental vehicle has a prior booking, we arrange a directly comparable replacement — same or better model, same daily rate, seamless handover.
Extending Your Driver
If you booked a chauffeur-driven kigali car rental, your driver's engagement can be extended simultaneously. Contact us via WhatsApp with as much notice as possible.
